September Update

I hope that everyone is keeping well and enjoying the last hurrah of summer. COVID has come ever closer to our community and we offer our support and thoughts to anyone who has been directly affected. The support group volunteers are still here to help anyone that needs some shopping or deliveries and so please contact us in the usual way. Email kettinscc@gmail.com Facebook message @Kettinsparishhall or call John 01828 628169 or Sarah 01828 627412 or Liz 077643 41353

Gatherings

We had hoped by now to have run a small coffee morning (of sorts) but while we were figuring out how to do that, within the regulations, the incidence of COVID locally increased greatly. The three household rule is the one that is the most challenging, but also the cleaning, and the our concerns about bringing together groups that often include vulnerable people. So as soon as we can figure out a plan, we will get something set up. Patience and safety are the watchwords for now.

Kettins Community Hub Update

I attach the September newsletter. Suffice to say the build is progressing well and has had all the usual building challenges with the obvious addition of COVID shutdown. Thanks to Gows and the other local contractors for all their hard work. We are working on all the processes that are needed to be able to open and equipping the building. More news to follow soon.

Keep safe and hope to see you all soon – COVID restrictions allowing.
