Thursday 9th April

Hello everyone

How is everyone getting on? More news and updates for you all.

New this edition are beer, ice cream, cheese, venison and bread. Happy shopping. The number of people offering ideas of what we should include in the list is growing!

So much local produce and a lot now delivered to your door. Many suppliers are starting to have a minimum order and several have been overwhelmed by the number of orders  -so just check all of these things. It is good news that we are all supporting local producers.

I am trying to stay up to date on it all! Moyness nurseries do not have bedding plants yet -so wait a few weeks – and have been inundated with orders, for which they are grateful but need to get organised to deal with. So opening for new orders next week.

Some of the smaller producers are bookable through Neighbourhood Food and this may be the easiest way to get your order. Check out their suppliers.

Not all of the notices are upbeat.

You may have read or heard that Rev Marjory McLean is offering to do online funeral services. I have included details of how to contact her if you need to.

Knitting for Ninewells Dementia Patients -thank you to all of those that have requested a pattern. If you knit, then maybe a way to fill your time and help others too. Email me for the pattern.

Rainbows – every time I go for my daily walk there are more of them. Cornelia has created hers out of recycled fabric. Photo attached. Keep them coming.

Clapping for the NHS – tonight at 8pm. Let’s make some noise to show our appreciation.

Recipe Corner  – keep these coming in too.

Happy Easter and Stay Safe.

Susan
